The stigma of self-inserts is so harmful to the creative process. Relax. Admit it. Everything you make is derivative of yourself, always, no exceptions. You can turn the mirror into tinier and tinier shards or you can make it as big as you want to reflect as much as you want. At the end of the day it’s always going to show you inside of it. Pretending otherwise is stupid.

I know this point has been made before, but it remains hilarious to me just how much of a losing game it is to send anon hate, rhetorically speaking. Like, your target has full control over how your message is presented, it will be seen chiefly by people who already like them, and it is structurally impossible for you to have the last word

wait. this is hilarious. They were contractually obligated to keep it, so when it was universally hated, they added an option to completely erase it from the dashboard without getting in trouble for removing it …… “snooze tumblr live” is funnier than we thought
Guys literally all of this is good news ,..they’re gonna be changing their approach to everything and focusing more on core functionality. which we all know this site needs. And they’re not downscaling any part of the trust & safety team so moderation should .. at least not be getting any worse
